Are you enthusiastic and committed to developing your skills in the field of special educational needs and want to make a difference to vulnerable children?

You will be working in a Complex Needs School for pupils with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties between the ages of 3 to 19. All pupils are special and have different learning needs; they learn best when they are happy and engaged.
Both our Primary & Secondary Departments each need a new class based teaching assistant to work within a team (one teacher and two other teaching assistants).

You need to have relevant experience and/or qualifications (e.g. NVQ 2/3) and demonstrate the ability to support and guide pupils who have additional needs. You will need to work closely and effectively with your class team, the families and other partners. High quality communication and people skills are required for this post.

The roles will involve working across this complex needs special school in all Departments and all subject areas including one position to work at our offsite Post 16 Provision (Pathways College) based on the site of The Hewett School.
